My name is Jim Adams. I started working in the tattoo industry in 2008 after graduating from Umass Lowell and realizing teaching wasn’t a path I wanted to pursue further. I moved down to Connecticut from Chelmsford Massachusetts and started my path to where I am today. I’ve been tattooing full time since 2012.

I really enjoy working in a varying degree of styles (neo traditional, traditional, color, black and gray, Japanese, minimalist etc). I strive to be as well rounded of a tattooer as I can be, as you can see from my portfolio. But to be honest, I really just enjoy the experience of tattooing cool people. Regardless of what I am working on, if I get to have a fun experience with a client, that’s all that matters. I consider the artwork that I do to be an extension of myself and enjoy the honor of bestowing my vision on someone's skin that they will enjoy and have with them for the rest of their life.

Some of my favorite things to do and talk about are dogs, cartoons, movies, anything automotive, podcasts, vinyl record collecting and eating cheese.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my body of work, including both healed and fresh pictures.  For more pictures you can follow me on Instagram @sickofjim.
